National Champions Crowned Following Conclusion of 2011 USA Badminton National Championships at Affinity Badminton Club

 

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 2011 USA Badminton National Champions have been crowned following the conclusion of the 2011 USA Badminton National Championship at the Affinity Badminton Club in San Carlos, Calif.

 

Representing USA Badminton as 2011 National Champions will be Cee Ketpura (Orange, Calif.) in women’s singles, Ilian Perez (San Jose, Calif.) in men’s singles, Joo Hyun Lee (Orange, Calif.) and Yun “Grace” Peng (Orange, Calif.) in women’s doubles, Howard Bach (San Francisco, Calif./Orange, Calif.) and Tony Gunawan (Orange, Calif.) in men’s doubles and Halim Haryanto Ho (Milpitas, Calif.) and Eva Lee (Orange, Calif.) in mixed doubles.

The USA Badminton National Championships, first held in Chicago, Ill. In 1937 is sanctioned by USA Badminton, the National Governing Body for the sport of badminton in the United States.  This year’s tournament was the 71st USA Badminton National Championships.
