USA Artistic Swimming is excited to announce Oceanside, California as the host city for the 2022 All Star Camp and Coaches College. The new, world-class William A. Wagner Aquatic Center will host the events in an outdoor pool from November 11th – 13th.
This educational event brings together some of the country’s best to share knowledge and develop athletes and coaches alike. This event is invite-only for athletes, with swimmers needing to advance through two levels of the Rising Star program that hosts clinics across the country to earn the honor of being an All-Star athlete. Clinicians with a range of background experience including artistic swimming, acrobatics, flexibility, lifts and more will be in attendance to improve our top-level athletes and instruct coaches on how to bring this essential knowledge back to their clubs.
With three miles of coastline and a historic wooden pier, Oceanside offers a wide range of beach-related activities from surfing to sunbathing. Athletes, coaches and families can expect to enjoy warm temperatures in the mid to low sixties, with little to no chance of rain. During free time in Oceanside, you will have no trouble finding a place to eat in what is described as one of the leading foodie destinations of San Diego County. Oceanside is conveniently located between San Diego and Los Angeles, making it easy to visit other popular attractions the state of California has to offer.
“Visit Oceanside and the Oceanside Sports Commission look forward to welcoming USA Artistic Swimming to Oceanside,” said Dana Higgins, Vice President of Business Development for Visit Oceanside. “Sports and outdoor recreation are vital to the active lifestyle of our community and Oceanside is home to several prestigious citywide sports events. We are thrilled to add Artistic Swim to our sports line-up and host the Camp at our new state-of-the art William A. Wagner Aquatic Center.”
