Board of Directors Updates - CEO Contract Renewed for Three Years

The USA Artistic Swimming Board of Directors approved the renewal of CEO Adam Andrasko’s contract through 2025 at the Nov. 30 meetingThe board recognized the leadership Andrasko provided the organization during the 2020-2021 pandemic, the additional support and resources obtained in support of the national team program, and the recruitment and retention of staff in the national office.

We look forward to continued growth in our sport as we enter 2023,” said President Denise Shively.  In addition, we know that the next three years present many opportunities for strengthening our international standings and reputationAdam has worked tirelessly to ensure we build strong relationships with our PanAm and FINA partners as well as with our own organization’s members.”

Serving as CEO of USA Artistic Swimming has been the most enjoyable job of my professional career. I look forward to building stronger relationships, growing the sports, returning the team to the Olympic Games and providing our members with the best experience we can deliver,” Andrasko said.

In addition, the board approved the extension of the legislative year through Sept. 10, 2023, allowing for changes in technical rules to be accepted with a 2/3 voteThe board also reviewed an initial draft of a Loss of Consciousness Protocol that will provide specific guidance for coaches and athletes should a loss of consciousness incident occurThe protocol will be finalized in the coming weeks and shared with members. The latest edition of Tech Talk is also now posted on the USAAS website.
