USA Synchro Hires Olympian Anna Voloshyna to Lead Junior National Team

Colorado Springs, CO. - USA Synchro is proud to announce the hiring of 2016 Olympian and 10-time world medalist, Anna Voloshyna, to lead its Junior National team.  

Voloshyna is a Ukranian native, who has been involved in synchronized swimming since she was 10 years old. In 2006, She joined the Ukranian Junior National team, and earned silver medals at the Junior European championship in 2009 in duet and team. 

Voloshyna earned her spot on the Ukranian Senior National team in 2010 where she competed until 2017. She has spent the last two years working with the Ukranian National team and other sportsmen as a coach and choreographer. Voloshyna said she is ready to take on the roll of coaching the Junior National team, especially as they transition to full time training in August. 

"It’s an incredible experience to work with a famous coach in Andrea Fuentes," Voloshyna said. "I’m looking forward to working with the junior team. I hope that together we will grow in a technique and artistry very quickly."

“We are thrilled to have Anna join the team," USA Synchro CEO Adam Andrasko said. "As the Junior National Team transitions to full time training her experience and leadership will help prepare many of our best athletes for success on the international stage.”

Voloshyna is married and has a daughter who was born in October of 2018. She has two west highland white terrier dogs.
