Cody Sahualla of Lamar University was named to the South Central All-Region Team after strong performances all season. Sahualla is the reigning collegiate national champion for men’s barebow and says this honor is powerful recognition for his school and his team.

This really means a lot to me and my community, the local news channel even did a story on it as well,” says Sahualla. “I feel like this club has really helped me and others connect as a team through archery and Lamar. It really gives everyone a sense of school spirit and importance.”

Next on the collegiate schedule is the National Outdoor Collegiate Championships in Newberry, Florida next weekend.  Collegiate archers will compete for top honors and the very prestigious National Team Championship Award and All-American accolades.
