COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – This summer, USA Archery’s Outdoor Nationals, which hit nearly 1,200 participants last year, splits into two events with the U.S. National Target Championships and U.S. Open on August 8-12 in Dublin, Ohio, and the JOAD National Target Championships on July 11-15 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Registration is now open for the JOAD National Target Championships.

For comprehensive event details and registration information, click here. Together with Visit Raleigh! USA Archery has put together an easy to use, one-stop option for booking your hotel, which can also be found at that link along with visitor activities and helpful ways to turn your tournament into a family vacation.

Archery fans of the Hunger Games series will be excited to know that most of the movies’ scenes were filmed in the Raleigh area and there are tours available of set and filming locations! Compete for national honors, and then check out District 12 and the hotel where the cast stayed during filming.

For parents and fans looking to get involved at the event, we are always looking for volunteers. Click here to access the volunteer registration portal, which has many options to support the JOAD Nationals.

Guests, family and friends can now also register for the Ice Cream Social, presented by Archery Advocates USA. This fun welcome event will kick off a week of exciting competition. Each competitor will receive one free ticket and additional tickets are available for purchase.

Coach Credentials and Premium Seating Wristbands are also available for purchase.

This year, USA Archery has coordinated with Scholastic 3D Archery (S3DA) to hold their Outdoor Target National Championship on the unofficial practice day before our JOAD National Target Championships begins. For more information, click here.
