ISU announces the World Cup Speed Skating Series

Following the decision of the ISU Council, the ISU is pleased to announce the dates and locations for the ISU World Cup Speed Skating Series 2020/21 and 2021/22.

ISU World Cup Speed Skating Series 2020/21
November 13-15, 2020, Tomaszów Mazowiecki, POL
November 20-22, 2020, Stavanger, NOR
December 4-6, 2020, Salt Lake City, USA
December 11-13, 2020, Calgary, CAN
February 17-18, 2021, Changchun, CHN
March 6-7, 2021, (Final) Heerenveen, NED
The above calendar, same as the calendar of other ISU series, is subject to a timely normalization of the Coronavirus situation allowing the safe organization of Ice Skating events in the season 2020/2021. The ISU is closely monitoring the respective developments in consultation with the organizing ISU Members with the expectation and hope that the situation will be restored to normal as quickly as possible. The ISU will inform ISU Members in case of any development or related ISU recommendations and/or decision.
ISU World Cup Speed Skating Series 2021/22
All events, excluding the ISU World Cup Speed Skating Final, will be qualifying events for the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022.
