Olympian Joey Mantia named the USOPC November Athlete of the Month

With the first tie in a decade, Olympian and World Champion Joey Mantia was named the USOPC November Athlete of the Month, along with U.S. Figure Skating's Nathan Chen!

Mantia notched the gold medal at the second world cup stop of the season, coming from behind to earn the top spot. Ranked 12th of 16 skaters after the first 16 laps, Mantia slowly advanced after each lap, going from eighth to third place with two laps to go, passing Netherlands’ top athletes and crossing the line first in 7 minutes, 45.1 seconds.

Mantia will compete this weekend in Nagano, Japan, at Long Track World Cup 4!
