143 Personal Bests at Am Cup Final

American Cup Final and Champions Challenge Recap

Kearns, UT- March 09, 2015 – Talented athletes from across North America and Colombia arrived at the Utah Olympic Oval last weekend to skate in The American Cup Final and Champions Challenge.

The Long Track Am Cup Final saw 143 Personal Bests, 183 Seasonal Bests and one National Record for India.

Xander Mark and Paige Schwartzburg won their respective Overall Sprints, while Erin Bartlett and Chase Reichmann skated to victory in the Allround divisions.

Kimani Griffin achieved a Personal Record in the Men's 1000m on Saturday, stating, "It feels good to know that the hard work is paying off and I'm excited to get back to training and go faster next season."

"It’s exciting to see some of our National Team athletes as well as some up-and-coming Juniors finishing so strong, and ending their seasons on a high note," said Long Track National Sprint Team Head Coach, Matt Kooreman.
