On the final day of the Long Track Championships in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Brittany Bowe set her second track record of the weekend in the 1000m in a time of 1.13,81, just ahead of Heather Richardson, who finished the race in 1.13,96. Shani Davis took the top spot on the men's side, skating the 1000m with a time of 1.08,77.

"There was great energy this weekend, with a lot of personal bests and a few Pettit National Ice Center Track Records" said Long Track Program Director, Nick Pearson. "Its fun to see so much upcoming talent, the future of speed skating, compete at the same time as the current elite athletes, and performing at such a high level heading into World Championships."
