United Capital Blades Speedskating Club - Rockville

Short track speedskating in the National Capital area. Coached by Hyun Jung Lee, highly experienced and successful US Speedskating-certified Level 3 coach. Skaters of all ages and abilities are welcomed! FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY! United Capital Blades Speedskating Club - Wheaton

United Capital Blades (UCB) was founded founded in 2013 under former Korean Olympian Hyun-Jung Lee and is now coached by retired US speedskater Chris Callis. As a 501(c)3 private charitable organization, UCB’s mission is to grow the sport of short track speedskating in the National Capital Region. We strive to develop lifelong leadership and sportsmanship skills through professional coaching, travel and competition. Our diverse, inclusive speedskating club invites skaters of all abilities, from Juniors to Masters, to enjoy our sport recreationally and/or competitively. The club practices at The Wheaton Ice Arena (11717 Orebaugh Ave, Wheaton MD 20902).
