Garden State Speedskating - BridgewaterGSS was founded in 1978 by parents and friends of short-track speed skating in order to foster the growth of speedskating through providing coaching and instruction to club members of all ages and abilities; and to create a development hub of future champion skaters in the greater NJ/NY metropolitan area and eastern Pennsylvania area. As a 501(c)3 private charitable organization, GSS is a friendly, supportive group of skaters, parents, officials, and fans of short-track speedskating. This club practices at three rinks: Bridgewater Sports Arena (1425 Frontier Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807) William G. Mennen Sports Arena (161 East Hanover Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960) and Richard J. Codey Arena (560 Northfield Ave., West Orange, NJ 07052). |
