Connecticut Speedskating

Connecticut Speedskating Club offers professional short track speedskating training to beginners through advanced speed skaters ages 5 and up. Short-track speedskating can be learned at any age, regardless of experience. Hockey, inline or figure skating experience is helpful but not required. Where we skate: Sports Center of Connecticut, 784 River Road (Rt. 110), Shelton, CT Please check calendar for training times as they can vary. Come & Try It with us in any of our ice sessions. The first trial session is on us! Please email us via CTSpeedskating@gmail.com to let us know you are interested. Bring a pair of skates (hockey or figure skates will do for starters), a helmet, neck guard, knee pads, gloves and long sleeve clothing. Elbow pads are recommended for beginners. Rental speed skates are available with advance notice.

Danbury Speedskating

Skate Fast…Turn Left…Repeat! If you have a need for speed, join us at the Danbury Ice Arena Saturday mornings at 7 or Sunday mornings at 8! We are a non-profit organization that supports short track speed skaters of all ages and abilities. Our primary mission is to promote the sport of short track speedskating in a positive environment and to help skaters reach their full potential whether that be recreationally or competitively. Our club has skaters as young as 6 and older, adult skaters that are young at heart.
