Entry Deadline:

February, 28th 2023 at 5pm MT

Late entries accepted until March 6th 5pm MT. A $100 late entry fee charge will apply

Preliminary Schedule:

Friday: 500m, Team Pursuit Women (6L) & Men (8L)

Saturday: 1000m, 3000m Women, 5000m Men*, 3000m Jr. C Men and Masters

Sunday: 1500m, Elimination Mass Start

*all masters registered for 5000m will be moved to 3000m

Coaches Meeting and Draw:

Thursday: 5pm MT

A Zoom link will be sent to all eligible coaches named by their athletes during the registration process.

Official Training:

Official Training is available complimentary on

COVID-19 Protocol:

USS currently does not have any COVID entry protocols for USS events. We ask athletes and coaches to monitor themselves for any potential symptoms in the 14 days prior to start of event. 

All participants who are experiencing signs or symptoms of COVID-19 should not travel to the venue and should immediately go to a healthcare facility for evaluation. 

USS will continuously monitor any developments and if needed implement appropriate protocols. By registering for this event all participants agree to follow the USS COVID-19 protocols in place. 

Eligibility:

·      Current USS member in good standing

·      International athletes who are a  member of a foreign NGB

·      To compete in AmCup in any other event than the 500m you must have a “D1” (seniors or a “D2” (juniors & masters) time standard in any distance

·      No time standards are needed to participate in the Master Championships

Qualifying Time Standard:

Please see time table in Rules & Regs page 37.

*times have to be achieved between July 1, 2021 and entry deadline in a USS, ISU  or other NGB sanctioned race

Athlete Check-In:

All athletes are required to pick up their transponders either in person or via a designated individual on Thursday, March 9th  between 2pm and 4pm at the Utah Olympic Oval Timing Deck.

No deposit will be required.

Not returned transponders will be charged to the skater at $100/unit
