Tentative Schedule

Calling all NEXT Gen speed skaters (ages 10 to 18) who would like to take part in the virtual USS NEXT Gen Camp #2 of a 3-part series.

US Speedskating is excited to host the third edition of the NEXT Gen Camps series. For the second camp, we will be joined by USS Coach Hongyang Wang, Head Coach of the ASE Program in Milwaukee, 2018 USS Development Coach of the Year, and three-time US World Junior Coach. Also sharing their knowledge will be Bay State Speedskating Head Coach and former US World Cup Team member Jerebelle Yutangco and Full Throttle Speedskating Team Coach and former US World University Games Team member Taylor Burdekin for 2 fun dryland sessions! Finally, we will have National Team Coaches Wilma Boomstra and Thibaut Fauconnet giving us tips and technical advice for on-ice drills in pre-recorded videos.

Given the current COVID-19 situation and to mitigate the risks associated with hosting an in-person camp, we have decided to switch to a virtual platform. This is the safest and prudent way to still conduct the camp and provide quality coaching and education.

Ice session:
For those who currently have ice availabilities, ice drills pre-recorded videos will be provided.
