Team USA opened the 2020 world cup season in Veysonnaz, Switzerland, with seven athletes competing. Laurie Stephens (Wenham, Massachusetts), Andrew Haraghey (Enfield, Connecticut), Spencer Wood (Pittsfield, Vermont), Connor Hogan (Foxborough, Massachusetts), Ravi Drugan (Eugene, Oregon), Andrew Kurka (Palmer, Alaska), and Thomas Walsh (Vail, Colorado) all hit the slopes on day one, while competition in Veysonnaz runs through Jan. 12. This is the first of six stops on the world cup circuit, with the finals culminating in Are, Switzerland, in April.
