Team USA Tracker: Para Athletics Grand Prix Nottwil

Team USA will compete in two World Para Athletics Grand Prix this week with opening competitions for the season in Tempe, Arizona and Nottwil, Switzerland. Top wheelchair racers will travel to Switzerland from May 24-26 to race on the fastest track in wheelchair racing, where 14 world records have been broken at this event. The U.S. is sending a delegation of 10 athletes, including stars Tatyana McFadden, Daniel Romanchuk, Susannah Scaroni and Amanda McGrory.

U.S. athletes successfully transitioned from the streets of the marathon to the track in Nottwil, closing out the World Para Athletics Grand Prix with 11 medals. The three days of competition were highlighted by gold and a world record performance by Daniel Romanchuk in the men's 5,000 T53-54 and medal performances from Tatyana McFadden, Kelsey LeFevour, Susannah Scaroni, and Chelsea McClammer. Full results from Nottwil can be found here
