From Michael Phelps To Jordan Burroughs – Here Are 10 Team USA Dads Who Deserve Your Attention On Social Media
In honor of Father’s Day, TeamUSA.org is focusing on some of the many dads who are working hard on and off the field, mat, pool, snow and more. These Team USA athletes not only excel in their sports, but they are doing a gold medal-worthy job at providing us with adorable family photos through Twitter and Instagram.
Now, be warned, these social media posts may provide a cuteness overload. To show our appreciation for the tireless work of the dads of Team USA, here are 10 stars that deserve your attention (and a follow on social media) because of their amazing family photos and videos.
Jordan Burroughs
Olympic champion wrestler Jordan Burroughs is a favorite follow on social media out of the dads. Burroughs is a father of two, Beacon and Ora, and is always posting photos of his kids between wrestling competitions.
Burroughs even brings Beacon in on his training, producing a front-runner for one of our favorite social media posts of 2018.
I thought it would make for a cool video if I did my last set of pull-ups with my son Beacon on my back. I couldn’t figure out why he was choking me until I watched this. He was in survival mode & hanging on for dear life.🤣Seemed like a good idea at the time. P.s. He survived 😂 pic.twitter.com/HCB5MxlkBO

David Boudia
Diver David Boudia and his wife Sonnie recently welcomed the newest member of his family with the birth of their son, Knox. Knox joins the Boudias’ two other children, Koda and Mila.
He’s here! Knox made his arrival last night & is doing great! Beyond thankful that God has entrusted us w/ a sweet baby boy 2 help grow & teach to be a Godly man that walks in humility, respects others, & runs pic.twitter.com/Wrow9DPMsU

Oldest daughter Koda already has a lot in common with her dad, who is a four-time Olympic medalist.

Mike Schultz
According to Instagram, it looks like Mike Schultz and his family are always on the move. The Paralympic snowboarding gold and silver medalist enjoys trying new activities with his daughter, Lauren, and there’s no shortage of adorable family photos.
Next stop in family bonding: hitting the slopes.
Ted Ligety
On the lookout for the next great Olympian? Look no further than Ted Ligety’s Instagram account. The two-time Olympic gold medalist alpine skier looks like he has a skier in the making with son Jax.
We can’t decide if he’s a better skier or a better dancer, but thankfully, we won’t make you choose, either.
John Shuster
Is there anything better than babies and gold medals? Olympic champion curler John Shuster knocked it out of the park with this adorable photo of his son with his gold medal following the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018.
Even when Shuster is on the road for his sport, he still finds ways to connect with his family, which includes sons Luke and Logan. And allows us to take a look on social media.
Michael Phelps
Twenty-eight-time Olympic medalist Michael Phelps’ sons, Beckett and Boomer, look like they are catching on to their dad’s habits pretty quickly, and we are here for it.
Phelps and his wife, Nicole, are also expecting their third child, as they announced at the end of March. We’re not sure how this photo could get any cuter, but another child on the way ensures it will.
David Wise
David Wise, a two-time Olympic champion in freestyle skiing, knows a thing or two about being on the road. His video of his son, Malachi, responding to his first experience with jet lag during a family trip to Austria is extremely relatable.
Can we also make this our Christmas card? This photo alone is all the proof we need that we have to stay up to date on Wise and his adorable family of Malachi and daughter Nayeli.
Dom Dwyer
U.S. men’s national soccer team player Dom Dwyer and his wife Sydney Leroux Dwyer, U.S. women’s soccer Olympic gold medalist, are a power couple on and off the field. The couple currently have one son, Cassius, and are expecting another child in the coming months.
There is no shortage of adorable photos of the family on Dom’s account, and if you can’t get enough, you can follow Sydney and their son as well.
Chloe Kim’s Dad
Though not an athlete himself, Chloe Kim’s father was one of the stars of the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018. Jong Jin Kim was seen cheering Chloe on from the sidelines as well as drinking a cold one in celebration of his daughter’s victory, proving the fathers of Olympic stars are just like everyone else.

If you didn’t get enough of Chloe’s dad during the Games, never fear, because social media has you covered.
Keith Gabel
If you are in need of adorable young baby pictures, look no further than Para snowboarder Keith Gabel. The two-time Paralympic medalist and his wife Heather welcomed their first son into the world only days ago, and we are convinced from these first few photos that Keith and JohnPaul are twins
Happy first Father’s Day, and we can’t wait to see more photos from the #GabelSquad in the future!
