On the first day of competition at the Paralympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018, Team USA took to the snow in both alpine and Nordic skiing and kicked off action in wheelchair curling. Champions were crowned in the biathlon sprints and downhill events, and the U.S. curling team took on South Korea.
