Yesterday, I won Bronze at my first World Cup of the season! I was second in timetrials but in my semifinal race a collision knocked me out of the course. Sometimes... life happens and you get knocked off course unexpectedly. So what do you do? You pick yourself up, brush yourself off and keep moving forward. That mentality helped me win the last race of the day putting me on the podium. Congrats to first place @brennahuckaby and 2nd place @nroundy . I was so exhausted after today's race, I didn't pause to snap a picture of the podium. While I rode #betterthanyesterday it wasn't quite the ride I had In mind. @brennahuckaby rightfully earned Gold today and @amypurdygurl took 3rd after we collided in the first heat. Great job ladies. I won 2 World Cups in a row for Snowboard Cross. Who would have thought not being in a SBX course in a year and a half and just having a baby I would do so well? I sure didn't. That is a wrap! I was not the fastest person on course, but I left it today with confidence. Confidence that I will continue to get better, stronger, and faster. Today's podium for @parasnowboard Women's LL2: @brennahuckaby @nroundy and @megan_pistol Although I'd like to note that @parashredder put up a fight for bronze. What a fun day!!
