Schedule announced for 2014-15 U.S. National Sled Hockey Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey announced today the schedule for the 2014-15 U.S. National Sled Hockey Team. Highlighting the slate is the 2015 International Paralympic Committee Ice Sledge Hockey World Championship, which will be hosted at HARBORCENTER in Buffalo, New York, April 24-May 2. Team USA finished second at the last world championships but struck gold at the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.

Team USA kicks off international competition at the 2015 World Sledge Hockey Challenge Jan. 31-Feb. 8 in Edmonton, Alberta. The U.S. will host Canada for a three-game series March 24-29 in Indian Trail, North Carolina, a suburb of Charlotte.

There will be three training camps leading up to international play. The first camp is set for Oct. 2-5 in Washington, D.C. It will also include the 2014 Disabled Hockey Workshop. Additionally, there will be camps in St. Louis (Dec. 10-14) and Indian Trail (Jan. 22-25).
