Gordy Crawford
Gordy Crawford has served as the chairman of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Foundation since 2013. A lifelong fan of the Olympic Games, Crawford found his passion for the Olympic and Paralympic movements at the Olympic Winter Games Sarajevo 1984 through pin trading. Since then, he’s attended 16 Olympic Games and championed Team USA athletes through his generous philanthropic contributions, recruitment of donors to the Team Behind the Team, and preservation of Olympic and Paralympic history through his world-renowned collection of torches, prize medals and participation medals.
“I love the Olympics. It’s the greatest sporting event in the world. I’m a very patriotic soul, and I love Team USA,” Crawford says. “And I also love the Olympic Movement, the dream of Pierre de Coubertin to bring the youth of the world together, to make the world a smaller place, and hopefully a more peaceful, safer place.”
