NEW! Coach Registration Required

A reminder that all American biathlon coaches are required to register for this event! Coaches are FREE, but must be registered in order to be allowed into the coaching box for official training and race days! We will have staff and volunteers on-site monitoring this.

Why is this required this year? In order to comply with new federal requirements, U.S. Biathlon must ensure that coaches supporting athletes at any national-level competition are active members of USBA with compliant SafeSport education and background checks. Registering for the event helps us track compliance so we can continue to keep hosting great national events.

Here is what you need to do:

  1. Go to the online event registration, and register under the “Coach” event category: https://www.skireg.com/Confirmed/5777

  2. Check that you have an active membership with U.S. Biathlon. This means that you are:

  • Up-to-date on latest Safesport requirements

  • Have a completed background check

Coaches who do not complete these requirements by official training day will NOT BE ALLOWED to enter the coach’s box on official training and race days! Thank you for your understanding.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch. Contact Sara Studebaker-Hallat sara@usbiathlon.org with any questions regarding your membership status and requirements.
