Biathlon World Cup season kicks off Sunday with live streaming on Olympic Channel

(November 25, 2017) – The U.S. Biathlon squad is set to kick off the 2017-18 World Cup season on Sunday with the mixed relay events in Oestersund, Sweden.

Racing in the single mixed relay for Team USA will be Emily Dreissigacker (Morrisville, Vt.) and Leif Nordgren (Marine, Minn.). The mixed relay foursome will be comprised of Susan Dunklee (Barton, Vt.), Clare Egan (Cape Elizabeth, Maine), Lowell Bailey (Lake Placid, N.Y.) and Sean Doherty (Center Conway, N.H.).

Live streaming video in the U.S. is available via NBC’s Olympic Channel. Streaming through the IBU site will not be available in the U.S. The single mixed relay begins at 8:15 a.m. EST, with the mixed relay to follow at 11:10 a.m.

Those who are not cable subscribers can watch the Olympic Channel by subscribing to YouTube’s TV service. The Olympic Channel is also planning non-streaming coverage of the men’s 20km individual event and the women’s 7.5km sprint on Friday, Dec. 1.
