(March 23, 2017) -- U.S. Biathlon fans can see the American stars of the world cup circuit compete in person this weekend in Jericho, Vermont, as the Ethan Allen Biathlon Club and the Vermont National Guard play host to the 2017 U.S. Biathlon National Championships, March 24-26.
Athletes from around the country, from youth to master divisions, will compete for national titles. Among the competitors will be recent world championship and world cup medalists Lowell Bailey (Lake Placid, N.Y.), Susan Dunklee (Barton, Vt.). They will be joined by their world cup teammates including Clare Egan (Cape Elizabeth, Maine), Leif Nordgren (Marine, Minn.), Maddie Phaneuf (Old Forge, N.Y.), Joanne Reid (Boulder, Colo.) and Paul Schommer (Appleton, Wis.).
