Description
Club coaches from across the U.S. are invited to register for the annual U.S. Biathlon Coach Conference and Training Weekend from May 12-15th in Lake Placid. The goal of this event is to bring coaches together for talks and hands-on workshops in biathlon and sport education and to network with each other.
After a two-year hiatus, we look forward to bringing a core group of coaches together again to discuss the current state of biathlon in the U.S. and plans for future development. We also welcome newer faces looking to connect with more experienced coaches in their regions.
This year there will also be a Level 1/2 Official’s Training offered directly afterward on the weekend, taught by Technical Delegate Tracy Lamb. This is an excellent opportunity to increase your biathlon knowledge, train yourself to better prepare athletes for competition, and run better competitions yourself at any scale. We encourage all coaches to attend.
