COACH REGISTRATION

A reminder that all American biathlon coaches are required to register for this event! Coaches are FREE, but must be registered in order to be allowed into the coaching box for official training and race days for BIA! We will have staff and volunteers on-site monitoring this. ALL registered coaches will be provided with a wristband at the coach meeting.

Why is this required this year? In order to support USBA and USSA SafeSport requirements, we are asking that coaches supporting athletes at our events are active members of their NGB. This means they are compliant with SafeSport education and background checks.

Here is what you need to do:

Go to the online event registration and register under the “Coach” event category.

Check that you have an active membership with U.S. Biathlon or USSA. This means that you are up-to-date on the latest SafeSport requirements and have a completed background check.

Coaches who do not complete these requirements by official training day will NOT BE ALLOWED to enter the coach’s box on official training and race days! Thank you for your understanding. All Coaches will need to register (providing either a current US Ski & Snowboard Coach Membership number or a current US Biathlon Coach Membership number.
