Club Description

Angel City Sports’ mission is to create sports opportunities across Southern California for kids, adults and veterans with physical disabilities. Through clinics and competitions, access to equipment, athlete training and development, and community leadership, Angel City Sports has built a nationally recognized adaptive sports program with support from partners such as U.S. Paralympics, LA2028, USA Volleyball, US Tennis Association and USA Track and Field. The Angel City Games is one of the largest adaptive sports competitions in the Western US, uniting the broader community of athletes, families, programs and partners. Launched in 2015, this annual celebration of adaptive sport serves hundreds of athletes who travel from across the US and abroad to participate. Local programs, clinics and events throughout the year cover a wide range of adaptive sports such as wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, track and field, swimming, archery, sitting volleyball, golf and more. The organization also supports emerging school-based programs through adaptive sports equipment rental, coaching education and athlete development.
