Matt Antoine earned Team USA its first men's skeleton medal since 2002 when he slid to bronze at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. Through the first three runs, it appeared to be a battle for bronze between Antoine and fellow U.S. teammate John Daly as they switched between third and fourth. In the final run, Daly's sled popped out of the start groove, causing him to fall from fourth to 15th.
