Fish Tacos



  • 2 lb wild grouper or snapper
  • Lawry's Season Salt or Everglade fish and chicken seasoning
  • 1-2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • Flour or corn tortillas
  • 1 mango, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup jasmine rice, dry


  • 1 large avocado, mashed
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Sea salt to taste

Yum Yum Sauce:

  • 8 oz. mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. tomato paste or ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/2 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp. smoked paprika
  • 1/8 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar


Step One:
Cut fish into smaller pieces and generously season the fish with your seasoning of choice. Coat on all sides. Set aside.

Step Two:
Prepare rice according to package.

Step Three:
Prepare yum yum sauce in a small bowl, combine all ingredients and stir until smooth

Step Four:
Prepare guacamole in a small bowl, combine all ingredients and stir until smooth and creamy

Step Five:
Add vegetable oil (or oil of choice) to a skillet over medium-high heat until oil is hot and shimmering. Add in the fish pieces and cook until golden on both sides, approximately 2-3 minutes per side. Alternatively, grill fish on medium-high heat grill.

Step Six:
Warm tortillas in toaster oven, grill, or second skillet.

Step Seven:
Build your taco starting with tortilla, rice, fish, guacamole, yum yum sauce, mango. Enjoy!
