Galen Rupp won the bronze medal in the men's marathon, crossing the finish line with a personal-best time of 2:10:05. Rupp's bronze is the first men's marathon medal for the U.S. since Meb Keflezighi won the silver medal at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. MORE

The U.S. men's volleyball team came back from a two-set deficit to win the bronze medal match by defeating Russia, 3-2. The victory returns the American men to the podium for the first time since the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, where they won gold. MORE

Freestyle wrestler Kyle Snyder won a gold medal in the men’s 97 kg. freestyle wrestling division after defeating Azerbaijan’s Khetag Goziumov, 2-1. At 20 years old, Snyder is the youngest U.S. wrestler ever to win Olympic gold. MORE
