Bobsled
In his first Olympic Winter Games, pilot Codie Bascue led the Americans to a ninth-place finish in four-man bobsled. Bascue and his crew of Evan Weinstock, Steve Langton, and Sam McGuffie earned four-run time of 3:17.28, 1.43 seconds behind the winners from Germany.

Nick Cunningham, in his third Olympics and second as a pilot, led his crew of Hakeem Abdul-Saboor, Chris Kinney and Sam Michener to 19th place with a time of 3:18.54. Justin Olsen, less three weeks removed from an emergency appendectomy, piloted the third American sled, where the three-time Olympian and teammates Nathan Weber, Carlo Valdes and Chris Fogt earned 20th with a time of 3:18.55.

Cross-Country Skiing
Less than four hours before leading Team USA into the Closing Ceremony, Jessie Diggins placed seventh in the women's 30-kilometer mass start, the final event of PyeongChang 2018. Diggins covered the course in 1:25:54.8 and has now finished in the top seven of each of her six events at these Games. The two-time Olympian was nominated for the Olympic Team of the Games with teammate Kikkan Randall for their historic gold medal in the team sprint classic. MORE

Two-time Olympian Sadie Bjornsen placed 17th in the event with a time of 1:28:50.2, while Olympic rookies Rosie Frankowski and Caitlin Patterson finished 21st and 26th, respectively.
