Siblings Becca Hamilton and Matt Hamilton won their first round of play in the round robin mixed doubles tournament, besting the Olympic Athletes from Russia, 9-3. Their victory made history as the first official win in mixed doubles curling at the Olympic Winter Games. MORE

The Hamiltons lost a hard-fought match to world ranked No. 1 Canada in the second round of play in the mixed doubles tournament. The sibling duo fought back from a 5-2 deficit to trail the Canadians by one point going into the final end of the game, but ultimately fell with the final score, 6-4. 

Ski Jumping
Casey Larson became the 100,000th male to compete in the Olympic Games after his jump at the men’s individual normal hill qualifiers. Kevin Bickner led the American men, as all four Team USA athletes finished in the top 50. With their results, Bickner, Larson, Michael Glasder and Will Rhoads all earned spots in the final round, marking the first time all four U.S. men have advanced to the finals since the qualification stage was introduced in 2002. The medal round will take place on the evening of Feb. 10.  MORE
