As the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 draw nearer, so does the completion of construction for all of their venues in Japan.

The Olympic Games kick off on July 24, concluding Aug. 9, and the Paralympic Games run Aug. 25-Sept. 6. The majority of the venues – some of which are being used for both the Olympics and Paralympics – have been completed and many are in use, while some are still undergoing the final touches.

There is a total of 42 Olympic and 21 Paralympic sporting venues, with many of those being shared between the two Games.
