Team USA wrapped up competition at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships this past weekend in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, with a total of seven medals – 5 golds and 2 bronzes – and quota spots for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
From Kyle Dake winning his second-straight world title to a record three U.S. women’s freestyle wrestlers winning gold medals (Jacarra Winchester at 55 kg., Tamyra Mensah-Stock at 68 kg. and Adeline Gray at 76 kg.), there were plenty of emotional moments at this year’s worlds.
