It’s official. The wedding we've all been waiting for has finally happened.
U.S. Olympic foil fencers and world medalists Lee Kiefer and Gerek Meinhardt - also known as GLee - tied the knot on Sunday, Sept. 1, at Keene Barn in Lexington, Kentucky.
The Notre Dame grads have been an item for eight years, and competing at the same competitions even longer.
The wedding guests included more than 15 of the country's best fencers, who flew in from all across the country to celebrate their friends. Many of these guests referred to the ceremony as the “Royal Fencing Wedding” along with using the hashtag “#kieferstolemeinhardt” on social media.
Take a look inside the wedding with some of the best moments and tributes shared from the big day.

Congratulations Lee and Gerek. You’ve already got a huge advantage on all married couples in settling disagreements: first to 15 touches wins.
