Team USA Athletes Celebrate And Give Thanks To Those Who Have Served On Veterans Day

Nov. 12, 2019, 6 p.m. (ET)

Veterans Day hits home across the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic movements each year. Many athletes have served their country in the military prior to or even during their time as an elite athlete, and those who have not know what it means to represent the United States and are appreciative of those who have done so in a different regard, protecting their freedom.

On social media on Monday, Nov. 11, former U.S. Army officer and two-time Paralympian Melissa Stockwell thanked all veterans for their service, while USA Hockey gave a shout-out to its former military service members Ralph DeQuebec, Travis Dodson, Josh Hargis, Jen Lee, Luke McDermott, Rico Roman and Joseph Woodke.

These were just a few of the social media posts on Veterans Day from members of Team USA.
