It was an exciting weekend in Hermosa Beach, California, at the USA Volleyball's Collegiate Beach Championships, part of the Team USA Champions Series, presented by Xfinity. The competition kicked off the summer portion of Champions Series.
The third annual competition included 45 women's pairs and 15 men's pairs.
LSU's Claire Coppola and Kristen Nuss won the women's title in 2018 and then defended their title on Saturday. Adam Wienckowski and Tim Brewster won the men's title. Wienckowski won last year's title with partner Jon Justice, and this year teamed up with 2018 Youth Olympian Brewster.
