COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – CoSport, the Official Hospitality Provider of the United States Olympic Committee, was formally announced as the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Authorized Ticket Reseller in the United States. In this important role, CoSport will work closely with the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee and the U.S. Olympic Committee to help welcome fans to the next Olympic Games with a wide variety of ticket and package options.

Demand for tickets is expected to be strong.  The highly anticipated Tokyo 2020 Games will take place less than 15 months from now, from July 24 to Aug. 9, 2020. Interested American residents are encouraged to register now on cosport.com and return regularly, as new information is frequently released.

One of the keys to a great Olympic visit is to plan early – reviewing the latest competition schedule and preparing a list of the events you want to see before sales start. Tickets for the most popular events may be in short supply, so registering early will allow the best prepared Team USA fans to be among the first in line to buy, and most likely to secure, highly sought-after tickets.

“The Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will be an incredible celebration of sport and culture, an experience of a lifetime in one of the world’s great cities,” said Sarah Hirshland, USOC chief executive officer. “Team USA athletes are already preparing for next summer, working hard to achieve their dreams of competing on the greatest stage in all of sport, and we know there will be enormous fan support in Tokyo to cheer them on.”

Package sales, including tickets plus accommodation and/or hospitality, will be available along with the sale of Individual Tickets. Hotel and Ticket Packages will combine a wide range of event tickets, three- or four-star accommodations, daily breakfast and expert guidance from purchase through departure from the experienced CoSport team and knowledgeable local hosts.

“CoSport has used our deep knowledge of Japan and the Olympic Games to develop a wide variety of Individual Ticket and Package options that will suit a range of budgets and interests,” said CoSport President Robert F. Long. “Our guests find that taking advantage of our Hotel and Tickets Packages simplifies attending the Olympic Games, which allows them to focus on enjoying this once-in-a-lifetime experience.  There will be plenty of options to choose from once sales open, but the best packages will surely go fast.”

Further information on ticket and packaged sales as well as how to register an account is available on cosport.com.
