Day five at the Pan American Games Lima 2019 was no different for Team USA athletes, who were impressing all day long. The USA Gymnastics team led the excitement after Kara Eaker, Riley McCusker and Cameron Bock medaled in their respective events. Sarah Lockman and her horse, First Apple, also took gold in the equestrian dressage competition. Also, USA Synchro won bronze in the duet and team technical competitions.
The Games continue until Aug. 11, featuring over 600 Team USA athletes, with multiple sports up for qualification opportunities for the upcoming Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

Kara Eaker, Riley McCusker and Cameron Bock Bring Home Medals
Team USA gymnasts finished the final artistic gymnastics session in Lima in style. Eaker and McCusker took gold and bronze, respectively, in the balance beam final. Eaker also won silver in the floor event after scoring a 13.800, while McCusker finished in fifth at 13.300.

Cameron Bock represented the men’s side today with a bronze in the parallel bars final. His teammate, Brody Malone, finished in fifth.

Lockman and First Apple secured the gold medal, while Baumert and Handsome followed closely behind with the bronze in dressage.
