Two-time Olympian Paige Railey cruised to a runner-up finish, winning a silver medal in the Laser Radial class, in the World Cup Series Miami on Sunday. She was one of two U.S. sailors to win medals on the final day of competition.

Luke Muller, the 2013 national champion in Laser, won a bronze medal in the men’s single-handed Finn class.

Railey, a five-time world medalist and 2006 world champion, won three preliminary-round races this week in the Laser Radial one-person dinghy class. Zhang Dongshuang of China won the gold medal.

Erika Reineke of the U.S. finished fourth in Sunday’s race for her fourth top-five finish of the week. She was sixth overall.

Muller, a younger brother of US Sailing Olympic Manager Meredith Muller Brody, overcame a penalty to finish fourth in Sunday’s medal race to earn a podium finish. He had two wins during the week.

Three-time Olympian Stu McNay and 2016 Olympian David Hughes finished fourth in the men’s 470 class.

Charlie Buckingham, a 2016 Olympian, had his best race of the week on Sunday, finishing second in the men’s Laser class. That finish boosted him up to fourth place in the overall standings.
