Day 10 didn’t disappoint as Team USA athletes’ dominant medal performances continued. USA Gymnastics highlighted today’s action with several medals across two different competition finals: club and ribbon as well as trampoline gymnastics. Evita Griskenas and Camilla Feeley led the once again for the rhythmic team, while Jeffrey Gluckstein, Ruben Padilla and Nicole Ahsinger sprung to the podium for trampoline. The U.S. women's softball team also continued its Pan Ams’ shutout after defeating Puerto Rico, 6-0, to continue its undefeated run.
The Pan American Games continue until Aug. 11, featuring over 600 Team USA athletes, with multiple sports up for qualification opportunities for the upcoming Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

USA Softball Completes Second Shutout
The U.S. women's softball team defeated Puerto Rico 6-0 on Monday to complete its second shutout victory in a row. Outfielder Haylie McCleney went 3-for-3 with a walk to lead the team alongside pitchers Cat Osterman and Rachel Garcia.

USA Gymnastics Dominates Rhythmic & Trampoline Finals
USA Gymnastics obtained more silverware for its already expansive medal count after Griskenas won gold in the ribbon final and bronze in the clubs final. Fellow Team USA teammate Feeley also took home gold in the club final.

Then, in the trampoline final, Padilla, Gluckstein and Ahsinger made history as it was the first time both the men and women have gotten to the podium for Team USA in trampoline in Pan American Games history.

What Else Is Happening?

The U.S. men's field hockey team faces Argentina in the semifinal on Thursday after a big win on Monday afternoon. This is the first time the men's team will be in the semifinal since 1995.
