And it didn't stop there! The U.S. rhythmic team was on fire and took their place on the podium with a second-place finish. They even appear to be rhythmic in every thing that they do...

What Else Went On?
Team USA athletes continued to enjoy their time in the athlete village, watching other sports and recovering ahead of their next competition.
Also, as competition comes to an end, some athletes are having the chance to explore everything that Peru has to over. Samantha Achterberg of modern pentathlon secured her spot in the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 a few days ago and, now, is at the wonder that is Machu Picchu.
Some athletes are still competing, however, so their parents are getting to see the sites without them. No love lost, though, as Savannah Jaquish's family is representing her along the way!
