The U.S. freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling teams have been training at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, this month under the watchful eye of a countdown clock.

The 2018 Senior Wrestling World Championships are right around the corner - Oct. 20-28 in Budapest, Hungary - and USA Wrestling is going to be ready.

Four-time world champion and 2012 Olympic gold medalist Jordan Burroughs, two-time world champ and 2016 Olympic gold medalist Kyle Snyder and world bronze medalist and 2016 Olympic bronze medalist J'den Cox were among the members of the 2018 men's freestyle team who have been preparing at the OTC.

Last year at worlds, the U.S. men's freestyle team won the world team title for the first time in 22 years, with six of the eight Americans reaching the podium. Across all three disciplines, Team USA left with nine medals, tied for the most in the total medal count. Three of those medals were gold, featuring wins by Burroughs, Snyder and 2016 Olympic gold medalist Helen Maroulis.
