Sue Bird poses at the Team USA Media Summit on March 6, 2016 in Beverly Hills, Calif.
On Tuesday night, Sue Bird took over the WNBA semifinals. And then she took over social media.
Bird drove the Seattle Storm to victory with a dominant fourth-quarter performance. She scored 11 points in fewer than three minutes near the end of the game and netted 14 points total in the fourth quarter. Twelve of those 14 points came from behind the three-point arc in an extremely clutch fashion. The Seattle Storm defeated the Phoenix Mercury 94-84 after being down four points prior to Bird's breakout.
Bird is a four-time Olympian and a four-time gold medalist. She has already announced that she plans to pursue a record-setting five gold medals in 2020.
The Seattle Storm were also led by Breanna Stewart, who scored a team-high 22 points. Stewart won gold alongside Bird at the Olympic Games Rio 2016.
Athletes across Team USA took notice of Bird's outstanding performance. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Kobe Bryant and more spoke out on social media in support of their fellow USA Basketball star. Here's what they had to say:
