The second weekend of competition at the Summer Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018 includes medal events in gymnastics and swimming.

The first of three days of individual apparatus finals for men’s gymnastics is Saturday, with American Brandon Briones competing in floor exercise, still rings, vault and high bar. The medal rounds in women’s trampoline is Sunday, which includes Team USA’s Alyssa Oh.

The sixth, and final, day of swimming competition is Friday. A number of finals includes women’s 50-meter freestyle and men’s 100-meter freestyle.

The Youth Olympic Games feature more than 4,000 athletes from 206 nations. Competition is being held in 32 sports and goes through Oct. 18.

The U.S. team includes 87 athletes (47 men and 40 women) competing in 21 sports. The first U.S. medal winner was May Tieu, who won a bronze medal in fencing this past Sunday.

In addition to gymnastics and swimming, medal rounds are scheduled this weekend in archery, diving, equestrian, canoe/kayak, sailing, wrestling and tennis.
