A Dozen Inspiring Photos From The 2018 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships

American gymnasts showed up to compete in Doha, Qatar, at the 2018 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, where they came away as the most successful nation, winning nine medals.

Most notably, Simone Biles became the first woman to capture four world all-around titles and the first in 31 years to medal on every event. She also set a new record, winning more career world titles than any gymnast in history, male or female. In addition, the U.S. women's team defeated Russia and China to claim team gold and qualify for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, and Sam Mikulak won his first individual world medal.
