Some of the best divers in the United States are competing this week for national titles and spots on the U.S. team for the 2018 FINA World Cup.

The USA Diving Senior National Championships, part of the Team USA Summer Champions Series presented by Xfinity, is being held through Sunday at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

Among those qualified for Saturday’s finals in the individual men’s 3-meter competition are 2016 Olympian Michael Hixon, Briadam Herrera and Grayson Campbell, the top three finishers in qualifying and semifinals. Campbell won the synchro title Thursday with Gregory Duncan.

Tarrin Gilliland, the 2017 winter national champion in women’s 10-meter platform, advanced to that final with the top qualifying score. Among those joining her in Saturday’s final are 2016 Olympians Amy Cozad Magaña, Jessica Parratto and Katrina Young. Parratto and Gilliland won the synchro title Thursday.

Sunday’s finals include world bronze medalist David Dinsmore, along with Brandon Loschiavo and Zach Cooper, among others, in the men’s 10-meter. Krysta Palmer is among the finalists in the women’s 3-meter after winning the semifinals with 320.55 points. Brooke Schultz, also a finalist, was the leader in prelims.

Finals in women’s synchronized 3-meter and men’s 10-meter synchro are Friday.
