Each week, TeamUSA.org recaps the performances of U.S. athletes through photos, showing where in the world Team USA athletes competed and how they performed. During the week of April 30-May 6, seven Team USA athletes stretched outside their comfort zone and made their debut on season 26 of "Dancing with the Stars," the U.S. men's ice hockey team opened play with two wins at the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, Venus Williams began the Mutua Madrid Open with a loss to Anett Kontaveit, top men's golfers were in action in Charlotte, North Carolina, Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir were spotted at the Kentucky Derby, and the men's foil and women's epee fencing teams made history - the men with their fifth straight world cup win to sweep the season and the women with their first-ever world cup gold.
