During the week of July 23-29, Team USA athletes celebrate two years until the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 in Los Angeles; the U.S. fencing team made history at the FIE World Championships in China, bringing home six medals; the U.S. women's field hockey competed at the FIH Women's Hockey World Cup in London; over 30 Olympic swimmers vied for national titles at the Phillips 66 National Championships, part of the Team USA Summer Champions Series, presented by Xfinity; NBA superstars arrived in Las Vegas for USA Basketball's National Team Minicamp; Alex Morgan scored a hat trick against Japan in the Tournament of Nations match in Kansas City, Kansas; golfers teed off at the Porsche European Open in Germany; Simone Biles proved she was back and better than ever at the GK U.S. Classic, winning her first competition since Rio; Seth Rider, Taylor Spivey, Kirsten Kasper and Matt McElroy earned silver at the ITU World Triathlon Mixed Relay Series in Canada; and David Taylor, Thomas Gilman and Kyle Dake won gold medals for the U.S. at the Yasar Dogu wrestling tournament in Turkey.
